Fortunately I was by myself and I kept her away from my family. I figured if they say her,it would freak them out. Especialy my oldest who is 10. I think it feels less real,if you know about it,but don't SEE the animal. I didn't let my kids see her, even though my 4yr old begged to see her, I didn't know what was the right thing to do. Maybe it was right to let him see her physicaly and say goodbye, but I just didn't want the guys to feel the pain of seeing her like she was. I know if I was unable to see her, I wouldn't be feeling this way, because i keep picturing her in my mind as how I found her. I want something to fill the void right now, but i dont think geting another dog is going to help with her loss. But i do feel like gongi out and getting one. Thanks for your reply.
