If you are sure he is in pain then it would be the best for him. Does he cry
out or appear to be in pain? I have a yorkie that will be 18 in Feb. she
also has cateracts and can barely see. She can't hear at all anymore. She
can still run outside and gets around. She still is eating and as long as
she doesn't appear to be in alot of pain then I will wait till or time
comes. I also have an American Eskimo who has kidney failure. The vet thinks
she has cancer to by some of the tests. She is eating and running outside.
She sleeps alot but not in any pain. The vet said there is no cure but she
could live a month or a few years before she starts to get bad sick. If I
see that she's suffering I will make that choice but not till then. Betty
