This is way to much bathing for a chi. It would be much better to use wipes to
wipe the chi clean.

As for breath, no their breath is not bad because of a small mouth. Their
breath can be bad for several reasons, sickness, bad teeth, bad food, ect., but
not because they have a small mouth. Brushing is a very wise thing to
do....unfortunately I have not been very good in that area.

But they do stink in a day or two -- mine does. Maybe because we live in a
really humid and tropical country. But we do use airconditioning but still...
Not extremely stinky, it's more like they smell like their dog food especially
near their scalp. His body coat doesn't stink though until when it's almost
time for his scheduled Thursday bath.

Or maybe it's their breath. The vet assistant said that it's because chis
have small mouths so their breath stinks. Is that true? Which is why I feed
him Breath Busters, but I just give barely half a cookie. I don't know if it
works though.

Who brushes their chi's teeth? How necessary is it?
