I'd be interested to find out, too. I do the same but the travel is usually just about 5 minutes. Just the same, I know it's not safe especially when he gets a bit bigger. Although, right now, he just lays on my leg.

I bought him a small traveling cage -- it's a hard plastic with holes for ventilation. He would cry like he's being punished! So I moved it in front so that he could see me instead of putting him in the back.

But when I moved him in front, he was barking and angry because he could see me and was wondering why I am keeping him locked up!

Hello group...I'm new. I'm Ed...the Chi is Rita. Almost 2.

What is the best kind of car set up that is safe for the Chi? Mine
loves to sit on my lap and drive, but I know it's not safe and the
police may not like it while driving.

She hated the car seat I purchased. How can I keep her close, able to
see, and safer?

Crazy about this dog.
