I stick his (heated it has a cigarette lighter adapter) bed on a pillow and attach it to the seatbelt. I get it up high because he likes to look out and it seems if he cannot gets carsick. There are carseats that you can attach to the seat of your car but whether you buy one or?rig one?ALWAYS harness your baby in. I have his harness on and tie his leash?to the headrest with?a?bit of breathing room but still tethered. I had Henry in the back when I was heading up to a friends cabin with her. We stopped short and he went flying forward. Luckily I caught him in mid air but it could have been a disaster. Also we live in a pretty safe place but a few months ago someone had their two malteses stolen out of their car when they went in for groceries. So even if your cracking the window or sunroof lock it up if your baby is left in the car, even for just a minute.

I do the same but the travel is usually just about 5 minutes.? Just the same, I know it's not safe especially when he gets a bit bigger.? Although, right now, he just lays on my leg. I bought him a small traveling cage -- it's a hard plastic with holes for ventilation.? He would cry like he's being punished!? So I moved it in front so that he could see me instead of putting him in the back. But when I moved him in front, he was barking and angry because he could see me and was wondering why I am keeping him locked up! On Nov 1, 2007, at 9:57 PM, ED wrote: Hello group...I'm new.?
