The breeder that I got Bogie from never shows her dogs. She just loves them.
I believe there are many many more like her. I don't agree with the showing
improving the best traits in dogs.

Well to each their own, but I know that many breeders are in 
agreement when I say that showing is a way of ensuring the best 
traits in dogs are being continually improved in order to mate the 
best animals to produce future generations of quality dogs.
