Sounds like something spooked him. Mouse? Snake? What kind of critters might have gotten into your cabin? My Cesar went crazy barking and growling one evening and when I went to check, he was reacting to a small bug that was crawling around. After I stomped on it, later, he would sniff around the area and bark. I ended up mopping the area to try to remove whatever odor he was smelling. Gloria
