The plastic reminded me of something, when I was in Florida and we were expecting a hurricane, I covered the jalousie windows with plastic (they are like glass venetian blinds that open and shut) so that if they leaked the water wouldn't come in the house. Well when the winds came up they made a weird siren sound on that plastic and I came out at 3 am in the morning to find my poor mini dachsund shivering in his basket scared out of his mind. As the storm hit I took my daughter, dog and myself and holed up in a center bathroom until the worst was over. My husband at the time worked for a newspaper and was on duty. Anyway, I will never forget that sound of the plastic whining like a banshee on those windows. You didn't happen to have a windy day did you? He does shake when near the living room but it seems to be a bit better now. I did put plastic on the window but I have done this before. Still a darn mystery to me and a perplexing one. Thanks for all your ideas! best, michelle and henry in the beautiful Catskill Mountains, NY -----Original Message----- From: Mandy F. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sun, 9 Dec 2007 10:13 pm Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] weird fearful behavior Is anything out of place or new? Put up a new picture, a different plant, or even add a new smell like a candle? Will he sit at the edge of the room at all? Does he shake/shiver from being scared? -Amanda- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ More new features than ever.
