I have been wanting another one since Bogie was about 6 months old. He is so jealous of the grandbabies. He has no problem with kids just the ones that I need to hold LOL Sheila "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, eggnog in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Chis are territorial, especially of their person, so yours may just not be willing to share his person or territory with another. Do you know anyone that has a chi that they could bring by for a visit to see how he feels about other chis? Or maybe you could take him to a pet store to see other chis or something. If you have any doubts, I would find out how he feels before I jumped in to get another, but most of the time, chis adore being with other chis. Marsha Do not tell God how big your storm is. He is the smartest, funniest, craziest dog I've ever had and he is probably in the running for the most spoiled dog contest. haha I have been thinking about getting a second Chihuahua but I am not sure if it would be a good idea. Anytime someone walks their dog in front of our home he gets furious. He starts barking and his hair stands up. Once a friend of mine got a boxer puppy and she brought her over... my dog wasnt happy at all. We have a cat and he likes him but the dog is the boss... even though the cat is bigger. LOL Has anyone's dog been like this and still brought another dog into the home? I was considering a female so there wouldn't be any alpha dog problems. I wasn't sure if the chances of him accepting another dog would be better because she would be so much smaller than him (unlike my friend's boxer pup). Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you, Tracy
