Yes unless you are A very experienced person and the mom has totally quit

I am interested in a new puppy myself but may I ask is 6 weeks too young to
get one?
My breeder had told me to wait until Henry was at least 8-9weeks old before
I took him home. I am curious just so I do not make a mistake as though
Henry was 9 weeks he still tries to wean (goe through the motions) when
nervous about something.
When can these guys leave their mom?

best,

We had a litter on Nov 13th, and they are ready for new homes. You can
see pictures at My Puppies photos or
http://pets.ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chihuahuas/photos/browse/46ae
They are APR Registered. Very friendly with the kids and cat.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
