[Chihuahuas] Mites

Hi everyone...here's a quick update on the mites....not my dog...but a 
friends....she sent me a copy of the paper that the vet gave her...it says the 
problem is demodex...the puppy is on Ivomec...also at the top of this paper it 
says  Demodicosis.
I was just wondering if there is any "home remedies" for mites...Thanks
