I got papers with 2 of my girls, but since I don't plan on breeding or
showing them, I never registered them either. I also did not want to
breed them for fear of something going wrong. It would break my heart if
something happened to 1 of them. I would have a hard time giving up any
puppies they would have had too! I'd end up with a whole house full of
furbabies.....LOL. I doubt there is an age limit on spaying because Lacy
was at least 5 yr old when I got her spayed. She was a stray, and
probably at least 2 yr old when I got her. I though she was spayed,
because she never seemed to come in heat, till my son got a male Lab and
she must have stood for him, because he was chained up, one time and I
let her out to go potty and she came back in with a bloody bottom. She
was at the vets getting spayed the next day. I was not willing for that
to happen again. I had her at least 3 years when that happened. I
noticed later that she had stopped chewing on blankets. Every once in a
while she would start chewing blankets but then go long periods of not
chewing blankets. I though, at the time she had stopped because I
scolded her, but now I think it was because she was only chewing when
she was in heat. But there was never any bleeding showing because she
was chewing it up, and I was too dumb to realize it. But check with a
vet to be sure.
Blessings to u and your's :-)

Thanks everyone. Everybodys babies are so cute. Princess is almost 3
years old and I've had since she was 6 months. I grew up with a chi
but since I was a kid I didn't have to worry about the techncal and
medical stuff so this is my first time being the sole provider for a
chi. I have a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can answer for
me. First of all, is there an age cut off to getting her spayed? I
considered breeding but since I have never done it before and I don't
want anything to happed to Princess I decided against it. Also, if
she is not going into competition is it good to register her anyways?
I have had the papers since I got her and just never did anything
with it. Is it necessary? Thanks

Do not tell God how big your storm is. Tell the storm how big your

Hey everyone. I just joined a few days ago and am finally getting
a
chance to look around. If there is anything I need to know about
this
group I would appreciate it if someone would let me know. I have
never
been part of an internet group before so I don't know how it all
works.
But I did post some pics of my Chi. It's under the name of My
Princess
if anyone wants to check them out. She is my baby and my love.
