It happened! Ya'll probably all know all this stuff, but this was a
landmark day for me (and one full of revelations).

Oscar was adamant that he was going to get the job done today so he kept
after Tootsie. I sat in the floor with them and held her till he could get
"locked in". She looked at me and screamed. I was strong...I swear she
looked me right in the face and screamed "MAMA MAMA" It was tough for me.
But once they got tied, she settled down and I held her in my lap to keep
them from dragging each other around the kitchen. Since it was her first
time (mine too).

Meanwhile, my other girl was on the other side of the gate having fits. She
was very upset at hearing Tootsie cry out like that and she began howling.
It was a real event at my house this morning. Coco continued to cry and
whimper the whole time, probably because she was outside the main arena.
And now that it is all over, all three of them are asleep in a pile in a
sunny spot on the kitchen floor.

And <singing merrily>...I'm gonna have puppies. I'm gonna have puppies <hums
happily>
