Your right Gloria..and as Mel said, there is no reason to be rude. BUT, at the same time, we do need to better educate the unsuspecting,...but we need to do so nicely. I personally do not have an issue with someone who says their baby is a teacup chi, but I do have a major issue with a breeder advertising a teacup chi....to me that is false advertisement and is intended to rip off the unknowing buyer...which is why it is important that we do educate people that there isn't any such thing as a teacup chi.so they do not hand over tons of cash to an unethical breeder, thinking they got something "unique". Paying a little more for a smaller chi is ok, but some of these breeders who double the price of the runt and get by with it by calling it a teacup is just wrong. Marsha

I know several people with tiny chihuahuas and they have NEVER had unusual health problems with them. Although they do have to take extra care when handling them or allowing others to do so, they also have to make sure they don't try to jump up or down and possibly hurt themselves. In other words use common sense, along with book learning. I would love to have a tiny chihuahua,, around 3 lbs. I think I could give one a good and loving home and I certainly wouldn't appreciate anyone telling me to get a hamster.
