I second the motion that Vets are really lacking in the pet nutrition area.
Most of them really don't know anything about it.

Did your vet put her on the food? Sometimes vets don't know much about dog
nutrition. Why is Angel on that particular food? Maybe you should compare
ingredients and try another, better quality food.

I just checked the food the vet has put Angel on. It scored an F. what am I
supposed to do? she's on it for medical reasons.

It's Royal Canin SO.

Bad. I went to the website to find the ingredients, it's full of by products
and sodium nitrite. Here is a link with information on how to grade your dog's
food. http://pets. families. com/blog/
<http://pets.families.com/blog/grade-your-dog-food> grade-your- dog-food Even
if you don't want to feed your dog the best of the best food it still has
useful information that will help you figure out what is good, bad, and okay.
My chihuahua eats Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul... she loves it and I
love how good it is for her. Oh, also I just wanna throw out there that kibble
is better (in most instances) than wet food for dogs.
