Thank you for all your supportive emails. They are greatly appreciated. It has now been 24 hours without Cooper and I can't stand it. I have never been so devastated in my life. I have contacted the University of Florida and several other pathologists as well as the breeder and several other vets. The opinion is that he had anaphylactic shock from the medication, similiar to what would happen to a human allergic to a bee sting. We are going to have a necropsy to see if we can get some closer. It is amazing how quite the house is without him. He was only 6 lbs but had such a joy about him and sounded like a herd of cattle running up and down the stairs! Everyone loved Cooper.

He was so miserable. The last one he has was in Feb. When the vet gave him the shot, he instantly screamed. The vet stopped and my Cooper looked like he relaxed. Then he screamed again. They took him out of the room and then told me they were resusitating him. And a few minutes later he died. They told me he was so stressed that he had a heart attack. Has anyone ever heard of this? I am so devistated.
