I'm not a breeder, and even though I eventually would like to start showing, the breeding aspect scares me to death. My Friend and breeder has been doing it for 15 some years and most of her litter are c-section,( she only breeds females that are 5-6 lbs) because chi's are small. The fact that people want to make money breeding dog's and there is a HUGE market for smaller and smaller chi's makes the risk higher. I would go your gut feeling, if you think something is not right, I say go with it. (Just my opinion).
