I don't remember exactly who mentioned it, but one of the girls asked how other members dogs did at doggy daycare. Well, Jaelyn had her first day at Puppy Love Daycare last Friday (while I took 2 of the cats to the vet for their yearly check-ups). Dawn said that 'Precious' a small maltese, butr bigger than Jaelyn, tried to make friends with her but Jaelyn was either scared or feeling overwhelmed by all the barking from the really big dogs. She said Jaelyn would bark at Precious and finally she ran and hid in the corner underneath a ladder. :(
I was really hoping she'd make at least one friend and I hoped it would get her socialized with other small dogs so she would get used to them. Her only past experience with other dogs was being caged 24/7 along side other breeding dogs.
