Thank you Stefanie! I just visited to see what they have. Unfortunately the
closest Chi/Small Dog meet up is in Erie, PA. About an hour away, but I'm
thinking with Meet Up it might be easy to set up a playdate for a few small
dogs in our area. Thanks again for the site link!!

I don't know about the are you live in but around my area, there are
some small-dog and Chihuahua meet-up groups. It's were a few people and their
small dogs get together (once or twice an month) somewhere such as someone's
fenced in yard, and let their small dogs play and socialize. I found a few
groups on Meetup.com. Just enter your zip and "small dogs or Chihuahuas" and
it will let you know if there are any groups in your area. It might be a
better way to socialize your Chis that a doggy daycare environment. It's not
as overwhelming.

          Hi Jesslan,
I wrote a few weeks ago about doggy daycare "hoping" people had a
btter experience than my dog did! :) My chi sat in the corner of
the room the whole time I guess. I was going to bring him one more
time soon to see if he could get adjusted and if not I guess it's
not a place for him! I am trying to be creative in socializing my
dog rather than just play dates, but I may need to keep it that way!

asked how other members dogs did at doggy daycare. Well, Jaelyn had
her first day at Puppy Love Daycare last Friday (while I took 2 of
the cats to the vet for their yearly check-ups). Dawn said
that 'Precious' a small maltese, butr bigger than Jaelyn, tried to
make friends with her but Jaelyn was either scared or feeling
overwhelmed by all the barking from the really big dogs. She said
Jaelyn would bark at Precious and finally she ran and hid in the
          corner underneath a ladder. :(

would get her socialized with other small dogs so she would get used
to them. Her only past experience with other dogs was being caged
24/7 along side other breeding dogs. So she really had no experience
with dogs up close and personal. :(
