You are welcome. You will find that there are so many great people with wonderful advice and experience in this group. I think we are quite a family :-) Pita didn't wear a cone, but she didn't bother with the stitches at first. She undid a few right before they were due to come out, but they were dry and flaky at the suture, so they probably itched. I thought for sure that her leg would bother her forever, but it didn't :-) I am glad I found this group, unfortunately I didn't find them until after Pita's knee and back surgery. Now I just seek advice for broken nails, and hopefully that will be the worst of it! Welcome to the group and I hope you stay a while! - em :-)

Jabby has pins too and hopefully with careful recovery they'll stay put! Did your Pita have any issues with wearing the "plastic cone" around her neck? Or did she lick at all? We're hoping the hair comes back in before it starts to get cold this Fall. Fortunately she's pee pad trained so she doesn't have to go outside to go potty. I'm sure this will get easier with each day! :) --- In [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:Chihuahuas%40yahoogroups.com> ups.com, "em" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > My Pita had one of her knees done.
