I think that is what did Pita's back in. She would jump on and off the couch, she ended up blowing out two discs and ended up paralyzed. Luckily, I was able to afford her surgery and now she walks again but is wobbly and has bladder control problems :-( Her back was prone to injury , her discs were already calcifying (she was only 2). My vet suggested putting large pillows on the floor where they like to jump off to absorb some of the shock. She is no longer able to jump, but I put pillows down for the other guys and they do prefer to land on the pillows instead of the hardwood floor. - em :-)

The closest I've come is the vet told me Jaelyn's knees were slipping out of place?
