I live in the Midwest with very cold temps (sometimes below 0) with snow and ice.
I tried to get Chico to wear the shoes and boots I bought him, but he wants no part of them. So, I take him out in the snow (after I shovel a path) to potty and he's fine. But, I always go out with him and wait for him and of course put a coat on him and sometimes a hooded scarf too when it's really cold and keep him out of the snow melt that we scatter around to keep from falling. I was thinking more of her being used to Florida weather and this being her first real winter. And we have some nasty winter weather not only being near Buffalo, but also on the lake. :/ I don't want her feet freezing. :( For indoors I can put little socks on her feet, but what about outdoors when I have to take her out to go potty? But I also see why some would say it's best not to put shoes on Chi's because their feet and legs are so tiny. :/ I'm completely confused now. > > For those of you who have winter (especially harsh winter) weather, what do you do for your Chi's feet when you take them outside?
