I live in Virginia and we get some snow in the winter but not a lot like up
north.  Gizmo is pee-pad trained so I don't have to take him outside all the
time to potty.  But, if I did and there was constant snow on the ground, I
would probably teach him to wear boots, too.  I'm sure they make them small
enough for Chi feet.  I have seen people put them on tiny dogs on TV.

I hadn't thought or heard about it being best Chi's not wear footwear. I was
thinking more of her being used to Florida weather and this being her first
real winter. And we have some nasty winter weather not only being near Buffalo,
but also on the lake. :/ I don't want her feet freezing. :( For indoors I can
put little socks on her feet, but what about outdoors when I have to take her
out to go potty? But I also see why some would say it's best not to put shoes
on Chi's because their feet and legs are so tiny. :/  I'm completely confused
now.

For those of you who have winter (especially harsh winter) weather, what do you
do for your Chi's feet when you take them outside? I'd love any suggestions you
have.
