So true Mare! Life is ...sometimes we don't understand why people or pets have gone suddenly. My cousin who is a Martinez Police Officer was killed today during a domestic dispute. We have been crying all day - My husband who works with him is being kept at the PD, and the surrounding towns/cities have taken over the streets... It's a blessing for all of the different police agencies from all over have brought food, their condolences, flowers, etc...they are suppose to do a debreifing/counseling for all the officers who actually had contact with the creep. Thought I would share..it's still hurts. At least he is in a better place!
