I know that to most this probably seems like a really stupid thing to be upset
over, but I'm upset and in tears.

I know that I've mentioned before that my little beauty, Jaelyn, was adopted
from a rescue I foster for and that she was an owner turn in from a breeder in
Florida. And I've also mentioned that I've been worried for her, because this
will be her first winter in NY and our winters can be brutal.

I've been searching around and looking for adorable clothes to keep her warm
this winter. In all I've spent about $500 on a full winter wardrobe for her.
(DON'T tell my husband because he'd kill me.) I'd bought from Kings Wholesale
before. Occasionally they have something that catches my eye for a good price.
They added some new adorable sweaters to their latest catalog and I ordered
four of them. They finally arrived today and despite the fact the catalog and
the tags on the sweaters say they're for dogs 8" long and made for dogs 7"-9",
they're actually 7" in total. And forget the 'pajamas' I ordered. It says
they're 8" long, but the butt part doesn't even make it as far as her hips! I
was peeved, but nicely called the company to arrange an exchange to get the
next larger size.

This person was the rudest and most obnoxious person I have ever met in my
entire life! She refused to exchange the items because in her exact words "as a
single buyer and not a wholesale company" I don't matter. Just to clarify I
asked her "Are you saying that as a paying customer *I* don't matter at all
because I'm not a wholesale company?" Her response was "Yes"!! She wanted *me*
to pay to return the items, get credit and then rebuy the items. By the time I
got off the phone with her I was in tears and shaking. And now I'm even more
upset because she had me so upset I never thought to ask her name to call and
make a complaint about her.

She did give me a number to the company who created the items 'Fashion Pet' and
told me I might have better luck there. So I called the number, all the while
still blubbering and practically hiccuping through my tears like a idiot. The
woman I spoke to was wonderful and said I never should have been treated like
that as a customer. She was going to call King and file a complaint and talk to
her supervisor and (I guess) figure out what to do about the sweaters.

I know I'm not the only person in the world who can say this... I already feel
like I don't matter, except to my family and my dearest friend. And to have
someone tell you to your 'face' with a snot attitude that you don't matter is
the worst thing that could happen to someone. I've been made of, laughed at,
and even laughed with people laughing at me, but that is the first time I have
ever been told outright I don't matter as a person.

My little baby is depending on me to be the best mom I can to her. That
includes feeding her, exercising her, keeping her warm and healthy, and loving
her wholly. Dammit, to *HER* I matter and everything I do for and to her
matters.

I'm done now. I have to get Jaelyn to the groomers.

Thank you for listening guys.
