The horrid's of hurricane Ike continue for my family in the clean up that
must be done in my beloved hometown of Galveston. We were fortunate enough to
find a work crew to hire to gut the house, so rebuilding can start. Today,
here in central Texas, we are blessed with a beautiful fall day, cool and full
of sunshine. So, Cesar and I sat outside for awhile to gather our strength,
to go forward, and to enjoy the moment. I took this photo of my boy, Cesar,
who is such a joy to me.
