I am considering another chi baby.. Have been for sometime.. But it would have to be a baby not an adult dog Tia is alone a lot during the day now.. I come home several times a day but it seems like the cats and lab just arent enough company for her, Might be awhile though cuz my sister is coming to stay with me and she has two mine doxies. Problem is they can't do a home check which is minor. Because if they were smart enough - A local rescue can do a home check in your area, and report back to the rescue in CA. How simple is that!! (maybe not so simple) due to having their (hands full)!! I really can't see their point of view. With Tuffies - I am sure they are able to consider an out of state adoption!! We just have so many Chi babies... I would be happy to pass the information along if anyone is interested out of state and are considering the adoption of another Chi baby! Makes me cry because many of the dogs that are fostered stay with us a minimum of 30 + days!! I will keep you posted on the new fosters coming this Saturday! Have a beautiful day!!

There are few chis here in the Northeast to adopt. Before I got my little man, I tried to rescue in California and they said ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! They would not adopt out of the county let alone the state. Maybe they need to rethink that policy to secure homes for those little ones! Good luck, those babies are lucky to get you!
