Thank you both for your advice. It looks like a male would be better.
I have been thinking about what to do with them when I get the new
one home and time together will be limited and supervised for quite a
while I think. I'll be setting up a pen within a penned area for as
long as necessary. Kadie has only recently had the full run of the
house as she finally does not have a slip up on a cold morning. I have
her penned in a large area when I am out. I think she will need to
get used to there being another pen before the new baby arrives - and
another bed and box of toys which are not for her...
