Hi Denise.  I have found that it all depends on the personality (not the
sex) of each dog when chosing a second (or third, fourth..so on and so
on...) dog.  Just try NOT to get one that is really dominant or really
submissive.  An "in-between temperment" might be best so they are more likely
to get along.  Good luck on finding little Kadie a playmate!  Don't forget to
send us pics when you get him or her!

Hi everyone, I must admit that I haven't been in here for a while. My
little Kadie is now 13 months old. She is such a little darling. But
I haven't been able to find a playmate for her so am going to buy a
pal for her. She is excellent with oldies as I take her to the
nursing home where my mother lives and they all adore her and spoil
her. I'm wondering whether I should get a male or female for her
companion. I must admit that I prefer female dogs, but want what is
right for her. I think the breeder still has one of each. I'll know
in about a fortnight. I was wondering what suggestions you people
could give me?
Thankyou in advance,
Denise in Australia
