Honestly? This dog will probably require someone who has "the touch". Some
people just have a way with dogs. I am one of those. I can take a dog that
is aggressive or fearful, and within a few months have that dog acting the
same as any other dog. There are others like that. It is a gift. Not
trying to like brag or anything, but some people just have this ability to
connect and communicate with the dogs (I don't mean we sit around and have
a conversation, lol)
Unless you have experience with dealing with this type of behavior ect, I
doubt you would be happy in the end. This dog will come into your quiet
home like a lion and will also greatly upset sox's life.
Of course I do not want to discourage you from saving the dog if his life
is in danger or if they are threatning to take him to the pound or
anything like that, but if their are other options for this dog, he would
probably be better off with someone who has dealt with this type of
behavior. Because if you bring him home and he doesn't work out and then
you have to rehome him, it would be his 4th home and that would make it
much harder for him to ever trust anyone.
