That is so sad! I wish that someone would dump that idiot in the middle of bumper to bumper traffic and take off. I don't understand some people!
I can't give you any real advice because Jaelyn didn't get along with our last foster chi. Let's hope she does better with our new foster chi we're getting this weekend. But I do think that loving him wholeheartedly and teaching him that you love him wholeheartedly is half the battle. It sounds like housetraining will be the easy part. You could always take Sox with you, but leave him in the car while you meet the new chi and if you fall desperately in love with him (which I think all of us would, especially after what happened to the poor little guy) and you're sure you want to take him in then have he and Sox meet on neutral ground, see how they get along and take it from there. Give him a little hug and kiss for me when you see him? He was put out along side of the road...people saw him being dumped (in heavy traffic) and saved him. The people who rescued him said he's a "mean dog"...he bites. I have one little Chihuahua...Sox....he has always been a VERY good dog. If the little rescued dog is laying on the couch or something and someone just touches him...9 times out of 10....he attacks them...one day...her grand-sons book bag just touched him...and he tore into it. I've only ever had one Chihuahua...and that is Sox...My house is very quiet...just me...my husband...Sox and our cats...Do you think if I get this little guy...he might calm down since our animals are NOT abused in any way...not hit or yelled at...only loved...and should I take Sox with me when we go to see the other little guy? I'm thinking that maybe he's being so mean is because he's so scared...poor baby...the lady said that the @#%^ that dumped him...got out of the drivers side of the car...went to the passengers side and opened the back door...took the little dog out...sat him beside the road...he went to go pee and the idiot sped off...cutting in and out of traffic...the people who rescued him were so shocked at what they saw...and were too worried about trying to get him before he got hit by a car that they didn't get the plate number. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas...please let me know...the little guy is young...she said about a year old...and is not all the way house broke...that's all I know about him...except he needs a good home and lots of love...which I can give him...Thanks everyone~~~Sharon ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
