I don't really know if the real dog whisperer talks to the animals BUT your 
personality communicates with them in a " way" that others do not have the 
ability to do.
You are compassionate about your animals. I would have saved the turtles too. 
These little animals, as well as our chi's, cannot fend for themselves. How 
cruel of people to be abusive to them. It is unforgiveable as far as I am 
concerned.

I have never watched the dog whisperer... .but doesn't he claim to like
actually TALK to the dogs? I don't claim that! lol. Mostly it is just that
animals tend to trust me. And I am a real animal lover.....stopped twice
in the middle of the road to day to move turtles out of the road so they
wouldn't get run over, lol....people thought I was nuts!! I actually drove
on past the first one because I was in a hurry...but it was bothering me
so bad that about a half mile up the road I turned around and went back,
lol
