I agree with Michelle. A new pup would be favorable instead a varmit. Another companion can be a plus for her - I should talk, I have the 3 girls that get along with all the pooches. Who did you get Katie from? There are puppies waiting to be adopted from many rescue groups. There are the small breed groups too...
