My daughter Elizabeth was attacked by 2 pit bulls when she was 14. She was jogging around 8:30 a.m. It was June the dogs started running with her and she didn't think much about it. When she stopped to cross the street they jumped up on her and began biting her arms and thighs. She started running back up the hill toward our home. She was getting weaker and weaker. Some Mexican workers who were building a home? nearby and ran after the dogs and beat them off her with boards, The construction manager who thankfully spoke English called. She was bleeding and had many puncture wounds and scars. Animal control came out and could not catch them so had to tranquilze them with darts.The man that owned them was a police officer and had a Beware of Dogs sign on his fence.We sued.She has physical and emotional scars.
