Oh wow...I'm so glad your daughter was rescued! My daughter was babysitting
once and got attacked by the family's dog...it was part Australian Shepherd and
collie...she lost the tip of her finger and they had to se it back on...she
also had some bites on her hands and arms.A friend of ours was attacked by a
pit bull when she was in her 20s...this is SICK....the dog belonged to her
husband...I think this guy has mental problems anyway...oh wait...did I say
THINK??? He DOES have mental problems! Anyway...the dog attacked her on her
arms....she has terrible scars...to this day...she's 50 now I think...she is
scared to death of bigger dogs! You should see her arms...she was mauled so bad
by that dog...and her husband LET the dog do it for a while before he pulled
him off of her!! And she's still with him today! She has DEEP scars...you can
see where the flesh was missing and they had to do surgery and skin
grafts~~~she was in the hospital for a while~~~how could someone do that to any
living thing??? People are SICK!!!~~~Sharon

My daughter Elizabeth was attacked by 2 pit bulls when she was 14. She was
jogging around 8:30 a.m. It was June the dogs started running with her and she
didn't think much about it. When she stopped to cross the street they jumped up
on her and began biting her arms and thighs. She started running back up the
hill toward our home. She was getting weaker and weaker. Some Mexican workers
who were building a home nearby and ran after the dogs and beat them off her
with boards, The construction manager who thankfully spoke English called. She
was bleeding and had many puncture wounds and scars. Animal control came out
and could not catch them so had to tranquilze them with darts. The man that
owned them was a police officer and had a Beware of Dogs sign on his fence. We
sued. She has physical and emotional scars. Thank God it wasn't worse.
                    Blessings,
                          Sheila
