No, I will learn if the vet thinks I need to but I am really nervous about
hurting her because she cried when the vet tech did it. It breaks my heart to
do it. Pixie is 7 lbs but she doesn't look like it. She looks kind of pudgy but
she is solid.  Evelyn

It is great news that she doesn't have what I thought she had.. It still cost
me almost $400.00 dollars, but knowing she is going to be okay is the best
news. I guess I will need to learn to express her glands from now on so this
doesn't happen.. Just going to be hard to do I think on both Smidgen and
Chassis cause they are so small. Smidge in just about 3 1/2 lbs, and Chassis is
2 1/2 lbs. Have you had to do this to Pixie ?
Beth

I am glad to hear this. I guess this is what my Pixie had too.  Evelyn

Smidgen is going to be okay !! She doesn't have Perianal Fistula. She
had a infected anal gland. The vet lanced it and flushed it out and
stiched her up. She isn't very happy about having to wear the E-collar.
Thank you everyone for your prayers..

Beth & Smidgen
