I am new to the group but just had to put my two cents in. Ricky is not aggressive! If the BF teases Ricky the BF should get out. It is your house and he is an adult who should be out on his own. Any dog would react the way Ricky is if teased. I have three female Chis and my nephew teased them when he was younger. My nephew has been bitten by my oldest girl. Now that he is a couple of years older he understands and he is now trying slowly to make friends with them. I would not trust the BF alone with Ricky. If he is doing these things while you are home what else is he doing when you are gone. In the way you describe him he very easly could abuse an animal or more.

I have told the BF not to tease Ricky. BF said that is not teasing... bla bla bla. Yesterday when I was not here, I asked my daughter to keep her eyes on Ricky while I run to the store. There was a problem Where I guess Ricky ran after the BF, and supposedly bit his boot. so the BF proceeded to yell and scream at Ricky which only make Ricky more angry (Ricky wont back down!). My daughter called me and told me I needed to come home cuz of this. I did go, tried to talk to the BF in a calm mature manner, but the BF proceeded to tell me I need to get rid of the @#...@#@# dog... and so on. I told him I was NOT getting rid of Ricky. and that was the end of that. I guess the BF and my daughter (if she wants) can find there own place. My daughter is 19 and the BF is 25, both working and have a car. The BF has no right to tell me what I should do, or not to do. I will not use the water on him. I do correct him and he listens to me.
