That is correct if they are doing it regularly and repeatedly. Sometimes 
however they will do it after they defecate if they didn't get a "clean break" 
so to speak, simply to clean their rear end, since they are without hands or 
toilet paper. So if you see it is only once in a while, immediately after their 
bathroom time, you may not need to worry about anal glands, they're just 
cleaning up.
