It's not bad for a dog if given in small amounts. Corn has no nutritional value for animal or human, it's just a filler food. The problem is that too many of the dog foods use it as the first or second or third ingredient and in large quantities, just like they do with the rice or wheat. Dogs are carnivores and need meat as a high protein intake.
