Darcy...usually when it starts the first thing is he bites the air 
uncontrollably...snapping and jerking. I wouldn't try to get near his 
gums...all 
I can really do is just make sure his place is safe...move him away from hard 
objects....hold his head. I have found that ice cream when he is coming out of 
it really helps...but afterwards...when it is almost over.
