One year DH & I were living in Vancouver and of course came over to Mom’s for Thanksgiving. Friday we were sitting around kinda wondering what wasn’t quite right, finally….no leftovers!! I ran over to the supermarket, bought a small turkey and roasted it (thawed quick in a sink of water). Then we made “leftovers” out of it for dinner. Normally I never cook the day after Thanksgiving, DH just wanders out and fixes a plate of leftovers and heats it in the microwave. I’ll probably have to get a small turkey when I get home…I was looking forward to giving Mouse her first mini turkey dinner. That’s the only time my babies get just people food, once a year they get turkey dinner too.
