I have only had my Chi for 8 days. She sheds & I use a roller with sticky tape. I also recommend you do your clothes when you take them off. This kind of fur moves from garment to garment - like my cat's did.
This reminds me of my Grandmother's Rat Terrier [similar to a Fox Terrier] and my Dali has the same fur. I remember my mother saying they were terrible - seemed to be shedding all the time - but in reality it is worse in the spring & fall. I think you need to try to offer a blanket that they use on you or your furniture - that is what I'm doing & it really helped us - she is learning that the fuzzy blanket is where she is during dinner and when we watch TV.
