I don't remember, has cooper been checked for a liver shunt? I just had Keeper checked for a round of seizures a couple weeks ago. I know this is really common in small dogs and maybe it could be fixed with a low protein diet and some other meds. Just an idea if he hasn't been checked out I would have a Bile Acid test done and liver enzymes...

I believe they get the generic form of the drug at Wal-Mart pharmacy for 4.00. You may want to check Wal-Mart’s website to see if they have it listed on the list of cheaper prescriptions. He had one yesterday afternoon, this morning at 7 and again just a few minutes ago. He's still walking around trying to get his bearing. He doesn't want to be held right now. During this last seizure, he cried out twice as though he was hurting. This is so hard. Maybe it's time to start him on phenobarbitol. Do any of you know how much it costs? Carolyn
