If Little Monster is wise to the hiding you may just have to do the down the throat thing...if you push it gently down one side...hold his little beak closed with nose up and rub in a downward motion on the outside of his throat it might be less traumatic...just get yourself calm and in control first so he does not pick up on your anxiety...just my thinking Waggin' Tails in The Dog Park, Deanna and The Dog Park Pack: Nugget, Shuai-Li, Mouse, Myrtle, Mable,Madison and Caleb and honorary non-dog members of The Dog Park: Stella-Macaw, Stanley-Amazon, Miles the cat www.joys4toys.com

I put the first couple in his chicken and he didn't seem to notice them. But now he eats around it. I've always had a problem getting him to take pills and I was so happy that the chicken worked but now I don't know how to get him to take it. We've tried everything! Cheese, wet dog food, pill pockets, and more! He always either won't even try to eat it or will eat around the pill. Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to shove it down his throat. And he only has 2 left and he didn't take this mornings dose. Thanks, Lorena Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
