He only does this after he pees? It may not be the knee, but the hip joint.
I also remember seeing something with male dogs that can do that, but I
think, not sure, that it had something to do with a gland or a trick nerve
or something like that. Try to Google 'why do male dogs lift their leg to
urinate' it may give you more clues.

I use the Wellness all chicken for the girls and they love it. Except that
Princess was loosing weight, and I didn't like her coat either, even though
I increased the amount. So now I give her half Wellness and half of her old
kibble and she seems to be doing better, and her coat seems to be coming in
better. I am also doing the same thing with Gigi and she has finally stopped
shedding so much and is getting back her shine. So some thing must be
missing in the all chicken blend.

Hi Everyone

Well... Ricky seems to be hoping a bit when we are out for a walk. Only on
the right back leg. He does not limp, and does it after he has peed with
that leg up & sometimes while walking now. I just read to give Glucosemine
suppliments, feed raw or grain free food, walk on an incline to help
strengthen the muscles around the knee, ect. He does not cry or show that he
is in any pain. I want to do this a natural way. I have been feeding
wellness Core & wellness ninety-five to him. Only the wellness core is grain
free and as close to raw as you can get without me doing it. Does anyone
have an opinion?

thanks

shanna & ricky
