Yeah, I know what you mean Dasha but it makes it harder for cleanup later as you have to search the yard for the stragglers.

Neither of my chi's kick their feet after going potty but one of my girls
walks while she poops. Does anybody else's dog do this? I have never seen a dog
walk around while pooping.

Both my females do this.
Princess, my eskie does nothing but mark territory when we walk. She is an
Alpha female. Gigi will usually mark on top of hers. They both kick
afterwards too. In order to get them into a real walk, which means
no stopping, no smelling, I have to walk them in the middle of the street,
and I keep the walk at a good brisk pace for a steady 30-45 minutes.
It's great exercise for them, and me, and they usually sleep for a
couple of hours afterwards.
I don't know about scent
glands in their paws, I never heard about that. I did read once that by
kicking, it spreads their scent from the pee or poop and defines more
territory.
