Deanna, Shoot, I didn't know P&G bought Evo. I don't like them either. This does not make me happy. Maybe I should change to Orijin. What do you think? I haven't noticed a change at all but I don't want them getting sick either. I am going to do some further research. Thanks for the info.

HI Evelyn!!!
I LOVE EVO!!!! I LOVE that they have small bites!!! My guys LOVED it!!! It was the last kibble they were on before we made the switch to raw. It did take my guys a bit to really like raw...but I grind it bone and all and now they love it and I dont worry about splinters. I heard something very sad that just made me so mad!!! As you may know Evo was bought out by Proctor and Gamble...infact P&G bought out the whole Nutra company. They promised they would not change a thing...well...I have been reading reviews that there have been issues...supposedly they didnt change the recipe/formula but have changed the quality of the ingredients used and some have gotten ill...have you experienced any changes at all? EVO is what i would have my guys on hands down if I didn't feed raw!!! It just angers me that they cant leave a good thing alone! This seems to happen to so many foods!!! UUGGGHHH! and for the record...I just HATE P&G!!!!

Deanna, I feed my girls Evo. I did do the raw and weirdly enough neither one would eat it. Not even the raw bones! They won't touch it. I thought that was really weird. They both have really nice fur...its shiny and thick but they both shed. They also have nice teeth and are healthy, thank God.

Anyone ever tried that Shed Stop supplement? I never have but I have friends that swear by it...i think they buy it through Jeffer's Pet. I use a boar bristle brush every morning and every night on the chis and the boston...coats are shiny and silkie and no shedding. Again I think diet plays a huge roll in coat health. If I had a Chi that shedded a lot I would start re-thinking his food and find out where I could improve what I was feeding.

Valerie, I have a black and tan chi female and a blonde female and they both shed like crazy. I have to brush them 3 time a week to control it. I also have to use a lot on lint removal tape.
