That's a good idea! I never thought of stuffing other toys in there too.
Monster gets those squirrels out so easy now. I am going to try that and see if
its more of a challenge for him.

Oh…forgot to add that when I go out and put Desi in his area, I hide a cookie
in his hide-a-squirrel and then stuff not only the squirrels but a bunch of
other small toys. He always find the cookie. For Christmas, I got him the
Treat Wheel and I alternate the hide-a-squirrel and the Treat Wheel. I put
little plastic rings on the top and he is too smart…has all the caps off in
less than a minute. I am going to cut a couple of the loops off and then he
will have 2 with and 2 without. That will give him more of a challenge when I
am gone.

Shanna,

Monster used to be really scared of his bowl too! We had to feed him out of our
hands or put it on the floor too. Now he will eat out of his bowl sometimes but
if the food moves around and scratches against the bowl he jumps. Most of the
time, I put his food in a hide a squirrel toy and he loves getting it out. I
also throw it down the hall and he'll chase it and throw it around and then eat
it. I always leave food in his bowl too and he'll eat it when he doesn't wanna
play with it. I have no idea why he does it either. I think hes just scared of
the sound the food makes in the bowl.

Hi

I have the wellness small breed dry also. I found today that Ricky will eat it
IF I throw it on the floor, and not have it in a bowl. I find this odd, but
also have noticed Ricky being afraid of a dinner plate, any plate... even a
little plastic one. If we throw his food on the floor, he will eat it, or if we
feed him out of our hand.... hmmm so now I have to try to figure out why. why
is Ricky afraid of plates & bowls. funny but he drinks his water out of a
stainless steal bowl... and his dry food is in the same kind of bowl. must be
bi-polar...

I just got home with a bag of wellness small breed food and Monster loves it!!!
I'm so happy and relieved that he likes it. He wants more! He picked it out of
his other food. I also got one of the canned foods and will try that in the
next few days.
