A little history about Zeus..  We found him (online) at the Miami Dade Animal 
Services (kill shelter) website.  When we went there to adopt him he wasn't 
there.  We were also told that he had been surrendered by his owner.  They 
called  him "Little Bit" and said that no one had adopted him and his time had 
run out. On the "last day" (before he was scheduled to be euthanized) a rescue 
group came in and saved him.

We contacted that group which was far north of us out of Miami, and they said 
he was there. We immediately drove up to get him.  After the 1-1/2 hr drive we 
arrived. It was a small place and chock full of animals. Dogs of all sizes and 
many cats. It was hot in there, and lots of barking going on. There was a lot 
of make-shift type cubicles with multiple dogs in each one. I spotted a crib  
with several dogs. Little Bit was huddled in the far corner looking scared.  I 
took this pic of him.

I looked straight at  him and he looked back at me.  I started talking to him 
and his ears perked up.

I immediately knew he was coming home with us.  After some paperwork we were on
