oh dear, poor you and poor Monster... hopefully the dye will tell them what
they need to know. But, if it doesn't you may need to be prepared for them to
do surgery to find it and fix it. My heart goes out to you.... hugs, mj

I told them they weren't working. They gave him stronger stuff last night. But
the vet just called and he's not any better so they are doing the dye and they
will let me know around 3 what they find. The vet really wants to do
exploratory
surgery on him... I'm so scared of that...

Poor baby, you might want to tell the vet the pain medication doesn't seem to
be
working.

I really hope that's what it is Joan... This morning I had taken him out and
when I went to pick him up he hollered before I even touched him. And he was
hollering a lot when the vets were messing with him...

Ohhhhh..poor Monster! In one of your first emails about him screeching in
pain,
it reminded me so much of when Dolly had the blockage (of rocks) in her
intestines. Please keep us posted.

The tests didn't show anything but they did another x-ray and it showed that
his
intestines are really thick so he may have a blockage or something else with
his
intestines. They're keeping him over night and giving him fluids, pain meds,
and
other meds since he's not eating now and he's in more pain. They'll probably
run
a dye through him and see if its a blockage then we'll go from there... I feel
so bad for him and I wish I could be with him...

oh dear, I'm so sorry. Let us know what the vet finds out. It is so so
so
difficult when our little ones are not well.. mj

Well guys, I'm back at the vet with Monster. He seems to be worse today.
They're
running a bunch of tests...

Lorena:

Hope Monster feels better and doesn't need surgery. I have bulging discs and it
is very painful.

Hugs,
Linda and Taylor

I will try, Gloria, I will try hard... He's already doing better. He's walking
around the house some but I'm trying to keep him still. He wants to follow me
everywhere. I'm not sure if he should be walking around or not. The vet said
not
to let him play or run around. I've been carrying him outside to go potty and I
think he's getting a little tired of being carried around. He backs up when I
reach for him now. Its funny, for a dog that wants me to hold him all the time,
now its too much. Lol

Lets hope the meds work and that he'll soon be pain free. While on your trip,
I
know it won't be easy, but try not to worry.
